THe LST-757 was assigned to the Asiatic- Pacific theater and participated in the Lingayen Gulf landing in January 1945 and the Mindanao Island landings in April 1945.

My dad, James E Clark, was in command of this vessel from 8/4/44- 9/20/45.

My dad was a US Army infantryman in Philippine Islands in WWII. This vessel transported him.

My father-in-law, Paul Howard Reilly, 20 Mar 1919-11 Oct 1988, served aboard LST 575 from it's commissioning to the end of WWII.

My dad severed on this ship from the time it was built in Philadelphia Pa.and made seaworthy in Bainbridge Md.until the war ended James Doyle Jarvis GM 1st class
